One of my photography goals in 2014 was to take more portraits of Ian.  This image was actually taken last month.  It just felt too intimate and scary to share until now.  It was towards the very end of the teachers strike.  We were so done with all the ups and downs.  We tried our very best to live on faith and keep our home fun and positive for the kids.  But we were tired. The uncertainty is really hard to manage when you have four little souls depending on you.  It's so very evident in Ian's face and in his eyes.  I love/hate this picture because of that.
