20 years

• We celebrated 20 years of marriage today.  It's hard summarize 20 years.  We love each other.  Deeply.  You guys are so lucky to have parents who are still in love and happy after all this time.  We work hard on our relationship.  We spend lots of time together, take time to be alone, go to counseling to check in with each other, talk about everything, and enjoy life together.  I hope each of find a partner who loves you and respects you.
• We went to New West and stayed in a hotel.  It was wonderful.  We ordered steak and crab from room service for dinner and laid in bed and ate.  What a treat!  In fact, I crawled into that big beautiful clean bed as soon as we arrived, and I didn't get out for nine hours.  Daddy even went out to a restaurant by himself for lunch while I lazed and dozed.  It was amazing
• Auntie Georgia came and spent the night with you.  George, you came to crawl into bed with me in the middle of the night and realized it wasn't me...and totally freaked out.  You went over to sleep with Katie instead.  Lila slept with Jane.  It made me smile to think of my four babies snuggling together in those bunk beds.  I'm so glad you have each other
• Jane, you made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner.  Everyone said it was delicious
