baby fix

• George and Lila, the living room was a total disaster this morning.  I gathered the mess into two heaps and made each of you responsible for one of them.  Lila, you got busy and finished yours within 15 minutes.  George, you pouted and fooled around and complained and played and procrastinated for about two hours.  You FINALLY decided to get it done, and within a matter of minutes it was.  It was painful to watch.  
• Jane, you had a busy day getting caught up on homework you had fallen behind on during the play.  You and George have a similar approach to work.  But when you finally got down to business, you completed it fairly quickly and painlessly.  The funny thing was that you were getting so frustrated while watching George work through his process this morning.  Lol.
• Katie, you slept in so late today.  Jane was in the room working on things and singing and going in and out.  I think with your fan running and the curtains, you're pretty much in your own little world up there.
• Jane, you went to your first house party tonight.  It was for the cast of the play.  You got all dressed up and did your makeup so pretty.  I wish I had taken a photo of you, but you were in a hurry to get there.  Daddy dropped you off at 5:00 and picked you up at 12:45.  You have a nice dad, Jane.
• Katie, you and I and Lila went to Kim and Ross's to have a visit and snuggle baby Audrey.  Audrey is delicious.  So chubby and soft and sweet.  You said you felt out of practice.  We'll have to work in some more visits!  You love babies, Katie.  You must get that from me :)
