christmas in july

• The temperature has gone down a bit and I'm finally feeling a bit more like myself. 
• George and Lila, I took you to Blue Mountain park this afternoon.  You had a great time, but ironically, the only picture I took of you looks like you were super sad. 
• Jane, you made wonton from scratch for dinner.  I made the broth and then helped you wrap the wonton.  The babies even "helped" you a bit.  It was delicious.  Here is the link to the recipe: https://www.recipetineats.com/wonton-soup/
• Katie, we reviewed our family's rules for texting.  I'm going to write them down to remind myself and you, if you ever need to see it in writing: 

1.  Be kind. To everyone including each other, your parents, siblings, teachers 

2. You may not create a group chat that purposefully excludes anyone. 

3. No texting people you don’t know in person.  

4. No drama.  You may NOT talk about people behind their back. If you’re concerned/upset/angry with someone, you talk to that person, no one else. 

5. In ALL photos everyone must be fully dressed.

6. No swearing.

• Our neighbor stopped by tonight and gave us a bunch of ribbon and wrapping paper.  George and Lila, you were so excited.  You wrapped up a bunch of your toys and hid them around the house and made Christmas for tomorrow morning, but only for the teenagers.  We have such nice neighbors.  They are so kind to us.
