under my umbrella

under my umbrella
  • Today was wet and cold and rainy again.  Once again, the garage came to my rescue.
  • Jane and Katie, I actually didn't set up the photos of you twirling the babies.  You just started doing it while you waited for me.  You're so sweet with them.  I especially enjoyed the photos of Jane twirling Katie.
  • I really wanted to get a photo of the four of you together smiling at the camera.  This sounds like a simple thing in theory.  In practice, it's almost impossible.  Whatever.  I'll take what I can get.  It took quite a lot of work just to get you all sitting in one place.  I was sweating by the time I made that happen.  Lol.
  • Jane, I saw a photo on Instagram a couple weeks ago that really inspired me.  I've been thinking about it ever since, so today I decided to make it happen.  You've been having a tough time lately, and I wanted to make a photo with you that would show you how I see you.  Remember that quote that I printed for you?
"Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness, will we discover the infinite power of our light."  -Brene Brown

You got this, kid.  And I'm here.  I'm your umbrella.  You're exploring the darkness, moving toward the light, and I'm right along with you, doing what I can to help you in your journey.
