soccer tournament

• Katie, you had a soccer tournament that started today.  Your new team has been practicing all summer, but because we were so busy and out of town for much of the time, you missed all but two practices.  Your team played two games today.  The first was against a team from Surrey.  You lost by quite a bit.  Your second game was actually against another Coquitlam team, so you played against Sara, who until this year, has been on your team.  It was fun to watch the two of you play against each other.  
• It was really really hot.  I was sitting in the shade and sweating buckets.  I don't know how you guys were out there running around all day.
• The sunset was beautiful tonight.  The moon was bright and it was nice to see Mt. Baker again after all the hazy skies we've had lately.
