• We went to the Shuswap this afternoon to join Grandma, Auntie Shari, and Auntie Jenny and the kids for a week.  It was so smoky from the fires in the Cariboo.  I felt like I had smoked a pack of cigarettes, my throat was so sore
• Katie, you worked hard trying to get Grandma and Grandpa to leave 100 Mile.  I feel extremely worried about them being so close to the fires.  I wish they would just leave, especially since grandpa just had cataract surgery a couple weeks ago, and grandma can't be in the car for extended periods of time due to her knee surgery.  Also, grandma has a hard time breathing sometimes, and I can't imagine the smoke is good for her
