shoe shopping

• Jane and Lila, you had a nice long snuggle and conversation this morning on our bed.  I don't know how daddy can sleep with people talking on our bed and the light on, but sleep he does.  I'm jealous.
• Lila, you had a stuffy nose this morning, so I kept you home from school.  You were so happy to stay with Georgie and I.
• We went to Como Lake park and played in the playground, then went fishing on the dock.  It made me feel nostalgic...just like old times.  I'm going to miss our morning outdoor adventures together.  We've been so fortunate to be able to do so much together the last couple years.
• Katie, you had a doctor's appointment after school.  The whole gang ended up going into the doctor's room, which was pretty ridiculous especially since Dr. Chang also had a student doctor with him.  Lila, you were wearing a blanket tied to your head, and Dr. Chang was so distracted by it, he could hardly focus on what he was doing.  He finally had a good laugh and got back to business.
• Jane and Katie, after the doctor's appointment, we went bra shopping.  Again, it was ridiculous.  All five of us were in the family change room while you tried things on.  Our family is pure chaos...and pure love and fun.  
• We went out to Red Robin for dinner after all our errands.  Daddy met us there.  We love that restaurant.  Everyone was super excited and grateful to be there.  
• After dinner I took Katie, Lila and George to Costco to go grocery shopping.  I've been avoiding grocery shopping for a while now, but things were getting dire at home.  We were scraping the bottom of the freezer...which is actually good because I hate having a bunch of stuff in there.
