  • Katie, you’ve been bugging me about blogging again, and today you said you were putting your foot down and I had to get back at it. I haven’t been writing every day because I felt the need to take a break so I could rejuvenate and refresh. I told you if you wanted me to blog, you needed to let me take some photos. You were happily willing which kind of surprised me. I had no idea you liked my silly stories and photos so much.

  • George, you made a gingerbread man at school today. It was pretty darn cute.

  • Lila, your class made gingerbread houses. I had sent you to school with a huge bag of candy…none of which were on your house. You said you put the bag in your backpack then lost it. I have a feeling you may have lost it into your tummy. Lol.

  • Jane, Donny walked you home from school tonight. He’s so friendly and polite when he’s here. George, you really love Donny. When he left, you jumped into his arms and gave him the biggest bear hug. You’re an enthusiastic little guy.

  • We are thinking about moving. It kinda breaks my heart to think about leaving our little home, but we’ve had our eye on a town house complex for several years, and now feels like the right time. I’m trying to trust the process and the timing of everything. If it’s meant to be, it will be. We met with a realtor to talk about our options and strategies. I’m curious to see how this will unfold.

  • Jane, you told me that your school friends found my blog and are obsessed. That makes me laugh.

  • I finished all my Christmas related errands today. I have never ever been this prepared. It feels amazing. It helps that this year we decided to buy each of you one special present instead of a bunch of smaller things. I’m really excited to give each of you the gift I chose. I hope you love them as much as I do.

  • Tomorrow daddy and I are going away for a couple nights to celebrate our anniversary. I’m really looking forward to it. I’m going to check in to the hotel early and daddy will join me there as soon as he can after school. Auntie Georgia is going to spend the weekend with you. I’m very grateful for her willingness to be here so I can relax while we’re away.
