day with cousins

• We spent the day with the Plesmans today.  Actually, it was just the girls (and George) because daddy needed to stay home, and Uncle Jer and Zach were out hiking.  It was so enjoyable.  Their backyard is so beautiful.  Like a park.  I love spending time there.  With the exception of the mosquitoes, it's so peaceful and lovely.  
• I love to watch you kids together.  You have a lot of fun with each other. 
• I politely asked you (begged you) to let me get a pool shot of everyone together.  You all waded in quite unwillingly, and all it cost me was that I had to come into the pool and play with you.  Deal!  No problem :)  I love the water.
• Katie, thank you so much for picking up my camera and taking some photos of me.  I love being in the shots.  
• Everyone fell asleep on the way home with the exception of you, Katie.  Jane, you were super tired from your sleepover last night.  It was nice to ride home in relative silence, listening to music, and chatting with you Katie. 
• When we got home daddy had made dinner for us.  He served us salad as a first course, then served us pasta with spaghetti sauce made from scratch using both beef and sausage.  He was pretty pleased with himself.  I have to admit, it was pretty delicious.  He'll have to work this into his regular repertoire.
