trimming the tree

• i usually hold off on putting the tree up until my birthday, but we are going to have a super busy week, so we put it up today. Katie, you and I went to the tree lot to pick it out yesterday. We walked around until one of them “spoke” to us. When we opened her up, we could see that she was a good one. We named her Samantha.

• George and Lila, you were so excited to look through all the ornaments. Then you moved on to decorating the rest of the house. We have bows and ribbons EVERYWHERE.
