bottling day

• Uncle Rick made a new batch of wine for us to share and today was bottling day. Katie, you came along with Auntie Georgia and I. You’re an expert at filling the bottles now.

• Auntie Maria made us the most delicious burrito bowls. All kinds of fun toppings including her famous guacamole and corn salsa. Auntie Georgia brought tamales. So good.

• I love our friends. They’ve filled a hole in our family and made our lives so much richer.

• George and Lila, I didn’t bring you along because we just came back last night from our vacation and you guys were so tired and the potential for disaster was high. Daddy was happy to stay home and have a quiet day after five days of visiting.
